Sodium hypochlorite generator used coated titanium anode/titanium electrode (quaternary, quinary or new formula) compared with ruthenium-iridium coating, has more excellent electrolysis effect and 10-20% lower in energy consumption, and it has leading level in the same industry.
Platinum (price is comparatively high), iridium-ruthenium alloy and titanium platinum-plated anodes (price is high) are generally adopted by sodium hypochlorite generator at broad, while coated titanium anode/titanium electrode (ruthenium-iridium series) is mainly used at home. The titanium platinum-plated electrode, when it is used in sodium hypochlorite electrolysis bath, is featured with comparatively high over-potential and comparatively short service life. Quaternary rare metal coated titanium anode/titanium electrode has advantages of excellent durability, low over-potential which is 0.2V compared with titanium platinum-plated electrode and comparatively high chlorine evolution current efficiency.
Pypocholoride electrolysis bath will be affected by deposit mainly including mg(OH)2 when the coating anode is used; problem of stack corrosion will occur on the titanium substrate when the anode is
exposed in the deposit, and the titanium substrate is specially processed to avoid the phenomenon.
(1) Titanium electrode/titanium anode for RC-001 sodium hypochlorite generator is in combined form, and the appearance includes pipe type, net type, plate type, etc.
(2) The generator is in combined form of tubular structure, internal cooling structure, and single-electrode structure and serially connecting structure; the generator anode takes titanium as substrate and the surface thereof is coated with quaternary rare metal coating, thereby reducing potential and prolonging the service life. Under normal operation situation, each sodium hypochlorite is continuously generated for 200-300 h at each time. The sodium hypochlorite is generated in a diaphragm type natural circulating manner, which improves salt utilization rate, increases current efficiency of electrolysis process, improves sodium hypochlorite yield, reduces energy consumption, and lowers operation cost.

Preparation of sodium hypochlorite by electrode process is realized by diaphragm-free electrolysis which generates sodium hypochlorite through homogenous secondary chemical reaction. Reaction of anode follows the principle of electrolyzing sodium chloride (in tablet form) in the swinging pool, so as to generate sodium hypochlorite. The most suitable salt concentration is 3-5%. And electrode adopted in sodium hypochlorite generator is plate-type or pipe-type electrode.
Coated titanium anode/titanium electrode or hybrid oxide coated titanium anode/titanium electrode is taken as anode material, which is characterized by long service life, comparatively low over-potential, high chlorine evolution current efficiency and excellent effect of energy conservation.
Anode has high efficiency and long service life, and is suitable for the following special working conditions:
Process of removing oxide (such as pickling)/Electrolyte moving at high speed/Reversing of electrode.
All will be packaged by standard exported wooden case.For protecting the mmo coating from harm,we will cover it with Plastic Wrap firstly,and then cover with pearl wool,foam,which are more soft and porous .
